Don't Miss your Greens

We just love smoothies and not just drinking them, we actually love making them! We have plenty of books with inspirational recipes but we always end up doing it our way. It's true, It doesn't take a genius, we know that, but we also think a little passion goes a long way! 

We especially love green smoothies. We normally have them in the morning. It's a good way to get our proteins and experience the benefits of all the green vegetables in one shot. This time I want to share with you one of our favourite smoothies. It's quite thick and that's perfect if you don't have time to have a proper breakfast because after that you'll feel extremely full. 

Ingredients

  • Half a cucumber
  • Handful of goji berries
  • Handful of spinach
  • 1-2 teaspoons of chlorella
  • 1 green apple
  • A squeeze of lemon
  • Ginger (as you wish)
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/3 of a cup of any dairy-free milk (we love oat and almond milk)

Throw all of it into a blender (we've got the Nutri Ninja 1000watt), mix away and then pour into your favourite glasses and share (optional).
