Today I (Leti) went to Greenwich to visit my lovely friend Claudia. I love taking the time to explore London. Although I ha been living here for almost 3 years there are so many areas that need to be discovered. Claudia is an amazing photographer. She mainly focus on fashion photography and works both in London and Italy but she is so talented that she likes taking pictures of her favourite food too. As you can imagine today she helped me with some shots of our new recipe.
Claudia and I both have a passion for vegetarian and plant-based recipes therefore it was very easy to find something that we both liked. This recipe is very very simple and can be prepared in less than 30 minutes. It's a nice thing to do together as there are different tasks to do at the same time.
- Rice or Gluten Free Noodles
- Sesame seeds
- Sesame Oil
- Brown Sugar
- Soy Sauce
- 1 Pack of Flat Beans
Peel the ginger and finely chop it, mixed it with the lime juice. Add the soy sauce, the sesame oil and 2 spoons of sugar. Mix well, this will be your sauce! Very very simple, isn't it? Cut the tofu in little pieces and trim the beans.Take a sandwich bag, add the sesame seeds as well as the tofu, shake the bag so that the ingredients stick together. Cook your noodles and beans together in boiled water and in the meantime heat a larger based pan with vegetable oil (sesame oil or olive oil for example). Cook the tofu until it becomes golden, add salt and pepper. Add your sauce to the tofu and let it reduce a little bit. Serve as you wish and enjoy your fantastic new vegan recipe!
